Chapter Lead Product Management (all genders)

Augsburg
Full-time
Permanent employee

Welcome to baramundi!

“Help shape how Product Management becomes more effective at baramundi.”

At baramundi, we develop Unified Endpoint Management solutions that support IT teams in managing digital work environments securely and efficiently. To further develop our product organization, we are looking for an experienced Chapter Lead Product Management.

In this role, you will lead and develop the Product Management Chapter within the Management Suite Tribe. You will strengthen common methods, standards, and decision-making processes and coach Product Managers in bringing customer value, business impact, and economic viability together even more clearly.
You will take on operational product responsibility and further develop the quality of product work at chapter level – in close collaboration with Product Managers, Product Owners, the Tribe Lead, Finance, Product Marketing Management, Architecture, and other Chapter Leads.

Do what you do best:

  • LEAD AND DEVELOP PRODUCT MANAGERS You will take on disciplinary leadership of the Product Management Chapter. This includes regular 1:1s, development and performance conversations, salary and promotion topics, capacity planning, and the individual development of your chapter members
  • FURTHER DEVELOP PRODUCT WORK AND DECISION QUALITY You will strengthen a data- and hypothesis-driven PM practice and help the chapter make and verify product decisions based on evidence – with a clear focus on customer value, business value, and economic contribution
  • STRENGTHEN METHODS, STANDARDS, AND BUSINESS COMPETENCE You will further develop common standards, templates, and best practices for product discovery, experiment design, success metrics, OKRs, business cases, ROI, monetization, pricing logic, and decision-making processes – creating orientation, scalability, and economic clarity
  • EFFECTIVELY INVOLVE STAKEHOLDERS You will work closely with the Tribe Lead, Finance, Product Owners, Product Marketing Managers, Architecture, other Chapter Leads, and the Executive Team. You will create clarity at interfaces, moderate decision-making processes, and manage expectations
  • COORDINATE TECHNICAL PARTNERSHIPS Together with the Product Managers, you will take on coordinative responsibility for technical partnerships and ensure that requirements, dependencies, and expectations between Product Management, Development, Architecture, external partners, and other stakeholders are clearly aligned and implemented in a way that makes sense from a product strategy perspective
  • BUILD CHAPTER EXCELLENCE AND COMMUNITY You will promote exchange, learning, recruiting, and professional development within the chapter. This includes competency and career models, an active community of practice, and the further development of common PM standards
  • FOSTER AN OUTCOME-ORIENTED CULTURE You will role-model a culture in which impact is more important than output, feedback is used openly, and decisions are based on data, hypotheses, and clear objective considerations

What we appreciate about you:

  • Several years of experience as a Senior Product Manager, Lead Product Manager, or in a comparable product leadership role, ideally in B2B or enterprise software environments
  • Initial or existing leadership experience and enjoyment in supporting people’s professional and personal development
  • Sound methodological competence in product discovery, experiment design, hypothesis work, success metrics, North Star Metrics, and OKRs
  • Confident use of product analytics and BI approaches, for example Power BI, cohort or funnel analyses
  • Strong business case, pricing, and monetization competence as well as a good understanding of ROI, NPV, profitability, and economic decision logic
  • Experience in moderating product decisions based on evidence and bringing different perspectives together into a clear decision picture
  • The ability to confidently navigate different stakeholders – from Product Managers and Product Owners to Finance, the Tribe Lead, and the Executive Team
  • A coaching, empowering leadership style with clarity, commitment, and a sense of responsibility
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, conflict capability, and decisiveness – even in demanding or uncomfortable situations
  • Pragmatic, context-related work rather than dogmatic application of methods
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Bonus: Ideally, you also bring experience with AI-supported discovery, market analysis, or product work as well as a good sense for its responsible use. Knowledge of pricing, packaging, monetization, product-led growth, competency and career models, or scaled product organizations is also a plus.
