Do you want to actively shape modern UEM solutions, translate technical complexity into clear product decisions and create real value for IT administrators together with strong development teams? Then become part of our Management Suite Tribe and help drive the further development of our primarily on-premise Unified Endpoint Management solution as a Product Owner.

At baramundi, we develop software solutions that enable companies to centrally manage, secure and automate their endpoints. As a Product Owner, you work closely with development, Product Management, Support, Consulting and our customers in an agile, interdisciplinary environment. Your goal: to translate product requirements into valuable, prioritized and actionable features.

Do what you do best:

DRIVE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT IN THE MANAGEMENT SUITE TRIBE You take content responsibility for two development squads and, together with them, further develop key product areas of the baramundi Management Suite, primarily in Windows Endpoint Management – from fundamental client-server communication to compliance and defense management, Windows OS installation, co-management and Windows Update Management. You are part of the Product Owner Chapter and work closely within the leadership trio of Chapter Lead, Scrum Master and Product Owner.
TRANSLATE REQUIREMENTS INTO CLEAR PRODUCT INCREMENTS You understand technical and functional complexity, formulate features and product backlog items precisely and ensure clear, testable acceptance criteria. You prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, effort, dependencies and stakeholder input.
DELIVER WITH YOUR TEAMS You are the primary contact person for content-related and product-related questions from your development teams, make progress transparent and ensure that your squads can work in a focused, informed and empowered way. At the same time, you balance maintenance, quality and new features.
BE THE BRIDGE BETWEEN PRODUCT, DEVELOPMENT AND STAKEHOLDERS You work closely with Product Management, Support, Consulting, customers as well as internal and external development partners, actively gather feedback and translate requirements into concrete development steps. In doing so, you represent product value just as clearly as the perspective of your teams.
COORDINATE EXTERNAL PROJECTS AND DEVELOPMENT SERVICES You coordinate external teams and projects from a content perspective, ensure clear requirements, transparent alignment and reliable integration into product development.
USE AI MEANINGFULLY IN YOUR PRODUCT OWNER ROUTINE You use AI tools in a reflective and pragmatic way – for example when creating features and PBIs, structuring requirements or developing quick prototypes for stakeholder feedback.

What we appreciate about you:

Several years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role with product responsibility in an agile software development environment.
Experience in providing content leadership for multiple development teams as well as integrating and coordinating external projects or developers.
Confidence working with Scrum, Kanban and backlog tools – ideally Azure DevOps – as well as experience in scaled agile ways of working.
Solid knowledge of or strong interest in Unified Endpoint Management, Client Lifecycle Management and Windows-based IT infrastructures.
Ability to quickly understand technical complexity and translate it into clear, prioritizable requirements.
Analytical, data-based decision-making and a high standard of quality.
Strong communication skills in German and English and enjoyment in working with different stakeholders.
Ability to provide content leadership at eye level, create orientation and foster open, transparent exchange within the team.
Bonus: background in IT administration, practical knowledge of software development, experience with the Azure technology stack or touchpoints with Linux, macOS, Android or iOS.
