“Public tenders are not an administrative process, but a strategic opportunity to win new customers.”
Everyone enjoys using good products. baramundi develops innovative solutions that help companies worldwide make their IT processes more efficient and secure. As a Tender & Bid Manager (all genders), you’ll identify relevant tenders, evaluate their potential for success, and manage the entire process—from the initial analysis to the timely submission of the bid. You view tenders not as an administrative process, but as a key sales channel for acquiring new customers and markets.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Presales, Product Management, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to compile the necessary information and ensure that complex requirements are transformed into compelling and competitive proposals. With a structured approach, foresight, and a strong sense of responsibility, you’ll successfully close out tenders and actively contribute to baramundi’s growth.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that shares knowledge, supports one another, and achieves success together.

Welcome to baramundi!
Do what you do best:
- ACQUIRING NEW MID-MARKET CUSTOMERS You will acquire new customers in the mid-market segment within the Bavaria sales region and strategically develop existing customer relationships—through both direct and channel sales.
- IDENTIFYING TENDERS AND RECOGNIZING MARKET POTENTIAL You will conduct daily research on national and European procurement platforms, identify relevant tenders in the fields of IT management, UEM, and cybersecurity, and evaluate their chances of success based on defined criteria. In doing so, you will monitor market and procurement trends and identify new business opportunities early on.
- MANAGING THE ENTIRE BIDDING PROCESS You are responsible for the entire bidding process, from analyzing the documents to submitting bids by the deadline. In doing so, you coordinate all involved departments, ensure the completeness of the bids, and guarantee compliance with all formal requirements.
- SUPPORTING NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES Together with the New Business Team, you identify revenue potential in the public sector. You provide support during bidder meetings, presentations, and client inquiries, and make a significant contribution to winning new clients.
- CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVING QUALITY AND SUCCESS RATES You will analyze won and lost bids, derive recommendations for action, and—together with the relevant stakeholders—optimize bid quality and success rates.
- FURTHER DEVELOPING BID MANAGEMENT You will further develop standards, templates, and best practices for bids, implement appropriate tools and processes, and ensure transparency regarding the pipeline, participation rates, and win rates.
